With rum-laced roots going as far back as 1888, 5th generation family-produced rum Ron Brugal XV Extra Viejo Gran Reserva Familiar rum is a sip of sweet history indeed. Made from molasses sourced solely from the Dominican Republic, this rum is multi-column distilled to a finished strength of 38% ABV and uses a blend of 3 to 8 year old rum aged in ex-bourbon casks. The nose offers pops of ground coffee and cocoa, sweet coconut cream, and hot cayenne spices over ribbons of caramel.
